Since 2010, Barnik Invest Group and its subsidiaries have helped companies with the challenges of growing as a company within Life Science. Through our own investments and access to a large network of experienced investors in Life Science, we have the opportunity to ensure that investment capital is available throughout the company's growth journey. We support our investment projects by contributing to a strong board and providing access to necessary resources and competences around, for example, regulatory affairs, patents, quality, clinical research, commercialization solutions and distribution networks. With our unique 360° solution, we have the opportunity to contribute to companies' growth with a broader perspective and a longer-term commitment than traditional investment companies.

We invest first and foremost in the people and team behind the company. We are looking for entrepreneurs who are driving with a strong vision and who have the ability to create strong teams of different skills that can work hard together towards the company's common goals and visions. We invest in business ideas that are scalable and can grow quickly where in our 360 solution we can help with efficient distribution networks to get out into the world more efficiently than would otherwise have been possible. We often invest in young companies at an early stage, but are also interested in older companies that are in an exciting expansion phase. The business areas we mainly work with are biotech, medtech, pharma and probiotics.

DO WE HAVE THE RIGHT CONDITIONS TO GROW TOGETHER WITH YOU?

Barnik Invest Group has a long-term investment horizon and is involved in supporting the companies with investment capital throughout the entire growth journey. Our portfolio companies have access to resources of the right skills and personnel via the wholly owned subsidiary Medicorent Int. as well as to commercialization solutions and distribution networks via the wholly owned subsidiary StartUpPharma Int. The size of our investments varies based on the needs and conditions of each individual company. We think it is important that you, as entrepreneurs, are the central people in the company and therefore prefer that you are the majority owner. For that reason, we never enter as a majority shareholder. Before we become an owner, together with the company's management, we usually ensure that there is a consensus regarding the company's goals, vision and growth plans, as well as how our ownership should be terminated in the event of a possible exit from the company.
